Terms of Service
Last updated: November 2025
Welcome to Ethereum Price Alert. Before you start browsing the articles, price coverage, or alerts on this site, please take a few minutes to read these terms. They set out the ground rules for using ethereumpricealert.com (the site), what we publish, and how the relationship between you and us works. By visiting the site, signing up for our newsletter or alerts, leaving a comment, or otherwise interacting with anything we put out, you’re confirming that you’ve read these terms and you accept them. If something doesn’t sit right with you, the cleanest option is to stop using the site.
We’ve tried to keep the language reasonable. It’s still a legal document, so a few clauses are inevitably stiff, but nothing important is buried.
1. About us
Ethereum Price Alert is an independent online publication covering Ethereum (ETH) and the wider cryptocurrency market. We publish news, market commentary, technical and fundamental analysis, and price coverage, and we offer email alerts and a newsletter for readers who want to stay on top of things. The company behind the site is based in the United Arab Emirates. In these terms, “we,” “us,” and “our” mean Ethereum Price Alert. “You” and “your” mean anyone using the site.
If you need to contact us about anything in this document, email us at mail@ethereumpricealert.com.
2. Price data, alerts, and articles are not financial advice
This section matters more than any other, so we’re putting it up front and we’re not going to be subtle about it.
Everything published on Ethereum Price Alert — articles, market commentary, analysis, interviews, price charts, price alerts, newsletter emails, social media posts, and anything else — is for general informational purposes only. It is not financial advice. It is not investment advice. It is not legal, tax, or accounting advice.
When we send a price alert, it’s a notification that a number has moved past a threshold you set or that we publish. It is not a signal to buy, sell, hold, or do anything else. The same goes for our price charts and market commentary — they’re information, not recommendations.
We are not licensed financial advisers, and we are not registered with the UAE Securities and Commodities Authority (SCA), the Virtual Assets Regulatory Authority (VARA), the Dubai Financial Services Authority (DFSA), the Financial Services Regulatory Authority (FSRA) of ADGM, or any equivalent regulator in any other country to provide financial services. We’re a publication, not a regulated adviser, and using the site or receiving our alerts doesn’t make us your adviser, broker, or fiduciary.
We don’t know your financial situation, your goals, your risk tolerance, or your tax position — and our content isn’t designed to take any of that into account.
Cryptocurrency is high-risk. Markets are volatile, many parts of the sector are lightly regulated or unregulated, and you can lose part or all of the money you put in. Past price action and past performance tell you very little about future results. Before you act on anything you read here or any alert you receive, do your own research and, where the amount of money matters to you, speak to a qualified, regulated financial professional in your country.
If you’re accessing the site from a country where crypto-related content is restricted or where promoting virtual assets requires specific authorisation, you’re responsible for making sure your use of the site is lawful where you are.
3. Accuracy and reliability of price data and alerts
We do our best to make sure the price data we display and the alerts we send are timely and accurate, but we can’t guarantee that they always will be. Price data on the site is pulled from third-party providers (such as CoinGecko, CoinMarketCap, CryptoCompare, TradingView, or similar) and may be delayed, cached, throttled, or temporarily unavailable. Different providers report slightly different prices because they aggregate from different exchanges and apply different methodologies.
Alerts are sent on a best-effort basis. They may be delayed due to email delivery issues, server load, API throttling, network problems, or other technical factors entirely outside our control. They may also fail to send. We don’t guarantee any specific delivery time, frequency, or reliability for alerts, and you should never treat the receipt or non-receipt of an alert as the sole basis for a financial decision.
If you’re trading or making time-sensitive decisions, please use a regulated exchange’s own price feeds and tools rather than relying on our site or alerts. We’re a publication, not a trading infrastructure provider.
4. Eligibility
To use this site you need to be at least 21 years old, or of legal age in your country if that’s higher. The UAE generally treats 21 as the threshold for financial activities; some other countries set it lower. By using the site, you’re confirming that you meet the age requirement and that accessing the kind of content we publish is legal where you live.
Crypto rules vary widely between countries. We don’t tailor our content for any single jurisdiction, and it’s on you to make sure your use of the site complies with your local laws.
5. Editorial content and accuracy
We try to publish content that’s well-researched, clearly reasoned, and honest about its limits. Where we use data or quote sources, we name them. Where an article reflects an author’s personal view, we say so. Where we make a mistake, we’d rather hear about it and fix it than leave it up.
That said, we can’t guarantee that any specific article, chart, or data point is fully accurate, complete, or up to date. The crypto market moves quickly, sources shift, and providers have outages. Our content reflects the information available at the time of writing — sometimes things look very different a few hours later.
Opinion pieces, analysis, and commentary reflect the views of the individual author at that moment. They aren’t necessarily the institutional view of Ethereum Price Alert, and they’re definitely not endorsements of any token, project, exchange, or service mentioned.
6. Sponsored content, advertising, and affiliate links
Independent publishing has to be paid for somehow. We do that through a mix of advertising, sponsored articles, press releases, and affiliate partnerships. Affiliate links mean we may earn a commission if you click through and sign up for a service, fund an exchange account, or buy a product. It doesn’t cost you anything extra.
We label sponsored content as sponsored. We don’t try to dress an ad up as editorial. But please apply the same critical thinking to promotional content that you would to any advertising. A project being featured here is not an endorsement, not a vetting, and definitely not a recommendation to put money into it.
Where local law requires specific disclosures or licensing for crypto-related promotions — for example VARA’s marketing regulations in Dubai — we expect the advertisers we work with to comply on their end. We do our best to screen out obvious scams and unlicensed offerings, but we can’t independently verify the regulatory status of every product mentioned in every piece of sponsored content.
7. Third-party links, data, and embedded content
Our articles regularly link out to other websites — project pages, white papers, exchanges, data providers, social media posts, news outlets, and so on. Those links are there because they’re relevant, not because we’ve audited the destinations. We have no control over third-party sites and we’re not responsible for their content, accuracy, security, privacy practices, or anything that happens as a result of your visiting them.
The same applies to embedded charts, tweets, videos, widgets, and price data feeds that pull content from outside platforms. If a price chart or alert shows the wrong number because a data provider had a glitch or outage, that’s a third-party issue, and you shouldn’t rely on a single source for any decision that matters.
8. How you can and can’t use the site
You’re welcome to read our articles, share them on social media, link to them, quote a sentence or two with attribution, sign up for the newsletter and alerts, and discuss content in comments where we have them open. There are some things you can’t do. By using the site, you agree not to:
- Break any law or regulation that applies to you, including UAE federal law, the laws of the emirate you’re connecting from or accessing the site in, or the laws of your home country
- Post or transmit content that’s defamatory, harassing, threatening, hateful, abusive, or otherwise unlawful — and we’d specifically flag that UAE law treats some categories of online speech more strictly than other jurisdictions, including content that insults religion, the state, public morals, or named individuals
- Impersonate another person or misrepresent who you’re affiliated with
- Try to gain unauthorised access to the site, our hosting, our databases, or any related systems
- Use bots, scrapers, crawlers, or any automated method to harvest our content, price data, or user information without our written permission
- Abuse the alert system — for example by setting up large numbers of fake addresses, automating signups for resale, or using the service in any way that could overload our infrastructure
- Upload or transmit malware, viruses, or anything else designed to interfere with the site
- Use the site to promote scams, pump-and-dump groups, fraudulent token sales, fake giveaways, or anything similar
- Reproduce, republish, repackage, or redistribute substantial portions of our content without permission (more on this in the next section)
- Treat our price data or alerts as if they were guaranteed and then come back to argue with us when they don’t pan out
If you break these rules, we can suspend or block your access to the site, and we can stop sending you alerts and newsletters, without warning if the situation is serious enough.
9. Intellectual property
The articles, analysis, charts (where created by us), graphics, logos, layout, code, and overall design of the site are owned by Ethereum Price Alert or licensed to us, and they’re protected by UAE Federal Law No. 38 of 2021 on Copyright and Neighbouring Rights, as well as by international copyright treaties. Raw price data sourced from third-party providers belongs to those providers and is subject to their own terms.
You can do the normal, civilised things with our content: read it, share links, quote a line or two with attribution, post it to social media. You can’t copy whole articles to another site, sell our content, scrape our price data for redistribution, train commercial AI models on our content without permission, or pass our work off as someone else’s. If you’d like to syndicate, translate, or otherwise reuse our material in a more substantial way, get in touch and we’ll have a conversation about it.
If you believe content on the site infringes a copyright you own, email us with the details — what the work is, where the infringing version is on our site, and how to reach you — and we’ll review it promptly.
10. Comments and user submissions
If we have comments enabled, or if there’s any other way to submit content (tips, guest posts, feedback), what you submit must be your own or properly licensed, and it must follow the rules in section 8. By submitting anything to us, you grant Ethereum Price Alert a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to use, display, edit, and distribute that content in connection with the site and our promotion of it.
We don’t pre-screen user comments and we don’t endorse them. We can remove anything that violates these terms or that we just consider unsuitable, at our discretion.
11. Newsletter, alerts, and email communications
If you sign up for our newsletter, price alerts, or any other email list, you’re agreeing to receive emails from us. We won’t sell your email address, we won’t spam you, and you can unsubscribe at any time using the link at the bottom of every email — or by managing your preferences if you only want to unsubscribe from one type of email (just alerts, or just the newsletter) rather than all of them.
How we handle your personal data more generally is set out in our Privacy Policy, including how we deal with the UAE’s Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021 on the Protection of Personal Data and other applicable privacy rules.
12. Site availability and changes to features
We try to keep the site running smoothly, but we don’t guarantee uninterrupted availability. Hosting hiccups happen, plugins break, third-party providers go down, things get updated. We may also change, restructure, add, remove, or pause features of the site — including the alert system or specific types of alerts — at any time, with or without notice, and without owing you anything for it. That includes situations where a third-party price data provider stops working with us, changes its API, or imposes restrictions that affect our service.
13. Disclaimers
The site and everything on it — including price data, alerts, articles, and any other content or feature — are provided “as is” and “as available.” To the fullest extent the law allows, we make no warranties of any kind, express or implied, about the site, its content, its accuracy, the timeliness of alerts, the reliability of price data, or its availability. That includes implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy of data, and non-infringement.
We don’t warrant that the site will be error-free, virus-free, secure, or continuously available. You use it at your own risk, and you take full responsibility for any decision you make on the basis of what you read here or any alert you receive.
14. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent allowed under the law that applies to you, Ethereum Price Alert, its owners, writers, contributors, employees, and partners are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages — including lost profits, lost savings, lost trading opportunities, missed alerts, late alerts, inaccurate price data, or any financial losses tied to investment, trading, staking, or other crypto-related decisions — arising out of or in any way connected with your use of the site or the content on it.
If, despite that, we’re found liable for something connected to these terms or the site, our total aggregate liability to you is capped at five hundred UAE dirhams (AED 500), or the equivalent in your local currency.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits any liability that can’t legally be excluded under UAE law or the law of any other jurisdiction that gives you mandatory protections — for example, liability for fraud, intentional wrongdoing, or any consumer protection rights that are non-waivable where you live.
15. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold Ethereum Price Alert and the people behind it harmless from any claims, losses, damages, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your use of the site, your breach of these terms, or your violation of any law or third-party rights.
16. Changes to these terms
We may revise these terms from time to time — to add features, reflect new laws, or just clean up wording that needs clarifying. When we do, we’ll change the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. If a change is significant, we’ll do our best to flag it more visibly, for example with a notice on the homepage or in the newsletter.
If you keep using the site after a change is posted, that means you accept the new version. If you don’t accept it, the answer is the same as it was at the start — stop using the site.
17. Governing law and disputes
These terms and conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of United Arab Emirates (UAE) and you irrevocably submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in that State or location.
18. Severability
If any clause in these terms turns out to be unenforceable or invalid under UAE law or any other applicable law, the rest of the document still applies. We’ll treat the unenforceable part as modified to the minimum extent needed to make it valid, or removed entirely if that isn’t possible, and the rest of the terms continue to do their job.
19. No waiver
If we don’t enforce a particular right or term right away, that doesn’t mean we’ve given it up. We can still enforce it later.
20. Entire agreement
These terms, together with our Privacy Policy, our Cookie Policy, and any other notices we publish on the site, make up the full agreement between you and Ethereum Price Alert about your use of the site. They replace any earlier agreements, discussions, or understandings on the same subject.
21. Get in touch
Questions, complaints, takedown notices, syndication enquiries, corrections, anything else — email us at mail@ethereumpricealert.com and we’ll come back to you as soon as we reasonably can.
Thanks for reading, and welcome to Ethereum Price Alert.
